Server/Bartender Job Description
The Blue Bistro is open for Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner. We open at 7:30 AM and service continues until 8:00 PM. Typically you are heading home by 9pm at the latest unless a specific function is in house.
Position: Full Time or Part Time Server/Bartender for Blue Bistro Restaurants and Events. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner shifts available.

As part of the Food and Beverage team, you will be serving the menu as well as bartending. You must enjoy and be capable of basic preparation, multi task ing and be quick on your feet. We have service indoors around ocean view tables, firepit or the greenhouses. Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds. You may also have the opportunity to work banquet functions.
You are the ideal candidate if you work well under pressure, have a gracious manner and of course enjoy working with guests. We would prefer that you have been to the Safe Serve classes or T.I.P.S. Certified, and that you have a certificate to this effect. We will help you achieve these certifications if not in hand.
Prep Cook/Line Cook Job Description:
Are you a student at a Culinary school looking for a seasonal position, or an experienced Line Cook, ready to bring your talents to the table. We have the job for YOU! This is an hourly position will assist the Chef and our small team with prep and execution for bar/dining menus and event/function menus. Develop skills or bring your ideas to the team.
We are hiring Full Time Line Cooks. Seasonal or Year-Round.

We serve, breakfast, lunch and dinner in the Blue Bistro, along with catering for our “in House” Functions. Our Line Cooks are responsible for creating and maintaining the highest quality food experience for our guests. Weekend, Nights and some holiday availability is a must. Shifts range from 6:30am -9pm.
Assistant General Manager
Are you ready to take the next step? We are creating a new position for an Assistant General Manager (AGM) who is looking to upholds our hotel’s commitment to hospitality and service to our guests who consider us their “home away from home”.
The AGM manages the Inn’s front office operations and assists the General Manager in managing the day-to-day operations of the hotel, including ensuring guest satisfaction, the supervision of the staff, employee productivity , sales strategy, expense control and strategies for revenue generation. Do you like that your day is never the same, fast paced and varied, then we would love to meet you. Duties could include:
- Trains, cross-trains and retrains all front office members as well as Participates in the selection of new team members
- Advise new employees of Beachmere staff policies and procedures. Suggest changes in policy as needed. Schedules front office staff and supervises workload during shifts
- Evaluates the job performance of team members, completing and administering performance reviews.
- Maintains working relationships and communicates with all departments.
- Verifies that accurate room status information is maintained and properly communicated.
Resolves guest problems quickly, efficiently, and courteously. - Updates group information. Maintains, monitors, and prepares group requirements, and acts as front office liaison with group contacts through the reservations process and through conclusion.
- Works within the allocated budget for the front office. Enforces all cash-handling, check-cashing, and credit policies.
- Conducts regularly scheduled meetings of front office personnel.
- Maximize room revenue and occupancy by through yield management, reviewing status daily. Analyze rate variance, monitor credit report and maintain close observation of daily house count. Monitor selling status of house daily. i.e. flash report, allowance etc.
- Monitor high balance guest and take appropriate action. Monitor collections of in house guests’ balances, direct bill receivables, commission payments and refunds.
- Ensure implementation of all hotel policies and house rules.
Front Desk Team Member
Warm Welcomes are what we pride ourselves on. Working as a team member to keep an even flow of work through the office is required of all front desk team members. The front desk is where guests go for requests, advice and complaints. You must be able to communicate effectively and know the Beachmere policies while providing a best possible hospitality vibe to all.
- Front Desk: PM and mid shift available
If you are an independent individual who is always looking for something to do when not busy and look for ways to make systems and work processes more efficient and guest friendly, we’ve got a position for you. You will assist guests who are checking in and checking out of our Inn or help potential guests who are calling in to inquire about future reservations (no cookie cutter rooms here, all have unique characteristics), in addition to performing other administrative tasks. You are able to handle situations to the best effect for the guests and for the Inn.Job Requirements - Must have flexible dependable schedule that allows weekends, and holidays.
- Prior hotel front desk experience required. InnQuest RoomMaster hotel PMS knowledge would up the anti for your hire and wages!
- Exceptional oral and written English language communication skills
- Must remain professional at all times and have excellent guest service skills.
- Must take direction well, be self-motivated, and be held accountable for tasks assigned
- Demonstration of common sense in problem solving
- Ability to deal with frustrating situations in a positive manner.
HOURS:
- Require flexibility and includes weekends with shift differential paid for the evening hours $15-$18
- Flexible Scheduling of shift hours depending on the needs of the Office

Maintenance Person
Job Description for Maintenance
- Full Time, Year Round opening for a Flexible Shift Maintenance Person – Immediate Opening. Come and join our Amazing Team.
- This position would have you working Full Time during the busy months. During the quieter months your hours would vary depending on the winter time renovation projects, that you would be a part of. Your work week would include weekends and also some holidays. We are looking for a well rounded person who is self directed as you could be working alone completing certain projects. You will be assisting the Front Desk at times procuring items for guest requests, delivering linen supplies to linen closets, answering room maintenance calls, helping in setting up and breaking down function spaces, working on snow, painting, trash and recyclables removal, etc. – all this in addition to working on maintenance projects.
- Ideally you have basic experience in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting but are will to learn and pitch in wherever needed.
- It is a busy environment, and you will need to be a flexible person as no day is the same in the hospitality industry.
- You must also enjoy the ocean and sea breezes, as it’s seen from every room on property
Housekeeping Manager
Job Description for Housekeeping Manager

- This position is a Full Time, year round management position with more hours needed in the busy months, less in the off season. During the quieter months your hours would vary depending on the winter time projects, that you would be a part of. Your work week would include weekends and also holidays. We are looking for a well rounded person who enjoys team work, a busy day with a hardworking team and plenty of guest interactions. You will be assisting the Front Desk at times, but primarily organizing the housekeeping daily tasks, ordering supplies, inventories and guests common area upkeep. We do our own laundry that is also under your management.
- Ideally you have experience managing team, housekeeping experience and a willingness learn and pitch in wherever needed.
- It is a busy environment, and you will need to be a flexible person as no day is the same in the hospitality industry.
- You must also enjoy the ocean, meeting guests who consider our Inn as their “home away from home” and having no day be the same as the one before.
Housekeeping – Full Time (FT) OR Part Time (PT)
Essential Responsibilities:
To provide cleaning services in, and ensure safety, order and provision of all assigned guest rooms, public spaces and laundry area. Starting at $15hr with a steady schedule and flexibility based on personal needs for work hours. Saturday shift availability during July and August are critical.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Reports to the Housekeeping Supervisor and Operations Manager for morning meeting to receive work assignments and other pertinent information for the day’s activities.
- You will clean guestrooms and public areas and assist in the laundry. Weekends and some holidays a must. You are a neat freak who looks at your work area with pride and is not afraid to get into the corners. You must be able to lift 25 pounds on a consistent basis, love to get your steps in and enjoy a beautiful ocean view while here. Experienced candidates preferred.
